What a great day. Just been laughing my arse off since this was announced. Two months ago I had a business trip from Denver to Santa Fe that I drove and found out about his buyout of Twitter leaving Santa Fe and laughed about it the entire way back hysterically knowing the two options for Twitter.

And now they’re all going to go broke and get fired. Oh, I fricking love it. I don’t think a lot of people fathom how fricking funny this is. Just chef’s kiss to all these fascists.

Musk’s net worth fluctuates by more than a billion daily. It isn’t huge to him. Regardless, if Twitter made materially misleading statements during negotiations in Delaware, it would be considered fraud that vitiates the contract. The winners here are the lawyers that will be paid millions to avoid musk paying Twitter a billion.

A better one would be Musk thought he was sticking his dick in a big bowl of pudding but it turned out to be a bowl of shite with a pudding shell.

Speaking of pudding and dick?

When Elon first bid on the company, Twitter went apeshit, Elon is a facist, Elon is evil, hostile takeover!, people resigning left and right...they couldn't even..... Dorsey walked away....

... now he's backing out and they are going to sue him to make him buy it.

Clown World. Absolute fricking clowns.

Oh and whatever Twitter refused to hand over to Elon before, they will have to turn over in court.

Bad move by Twitter to sue him.

At this point I have to believe Twitter wants to fail, they want a mercy killing, this is like a suicide of sorts to sue Musk into something they screamed bloody murder about three months ago.

They honestly have no choice but to do so. Monday is going to be Black Tuesday for Twitter. They’re fricked when the stock market opens on that day. Everyone is immediately going to sell.

Y'all might want to Google "specific performance" and Deleware precedence.

And then google Delaware’s precedence on vitiating contracts for fraud.

This is horrible news. It doesn't matter if their stock tanks. That has never mattered as far as them being a propaganda thought control platform is concerned. They will continue to ban the right, promote the left, create fake outrage to drive policy and craft the message.

How? This was always on the table and Twitter is fricked regardless. It’s fricking hilarious what is happening to Twitter in real time.

That was my first thought - I'm not sure Twitter can win this one - Twitter seems to have all kinds of skeletons in their closet.

Like he doesn't own multiple multi-billion dollar corporations that he created, and isn't surrounded by a team of Harvard educated corporate lawyers, and didn't enter into contractual obligations with another large corporation called Twitter that also owes contractual obligations back to him, and he is just some troll playing a practical joke to get a rise out of Trumpkins on the internet?

Is that what yall on the left actually believe?

You'd be surprised how many corporations incorporate in Delaware but have nothing more than a PO Box in the state. In fact, it's most large corporations.

I could be wrong, but long term I don't think they are fricked.

Don't get me wrong, I think its a platform that does more harm than good (people having a limited amount of character space to put out thoughts, people emotional tweeting and people emotional responding, the ease in which fake news and bullshite information can be spread, the value that is put into what is trending on twitter, etc), but its a platform that does allow people to give and get information quick. Its platform is different from Facebook.

Someone can be on site and use it to quickly share information of what's going on "in real time".

There might be an adjustment and the value of it could change which might only be a correction to its true value and a lot of stockholders will lose money, but like I said... Long term I think it survives. Its too valuable to too many people.
