I have no sympathy.
Welcome to the real world Mr Park Ranger.
You are owed nothing.

It’s not about owing the park ranger something. It’s about owing out children something which is a national park they can enjoy, a functional place to live, etc. But hooray we saved 0.00001% of the budget.

Big difference between our Interp Rangers, Admin Ranger and LE. However they are ALL underpayed and overworked. All of them at my park anyway.
I don’t see how it can continue to function as one of the most visited parks in the country if anyone is trimmed from the current employee roll there.

25 I statements that basically suggest
"I am better than you"
"my job is very important"
"I am tired"
Me too boss, tired of Democrats

Shitlibs were laughing when the energy sector workers lost their jobs to 'green initiatives '. (Aka 'enormous grift'). So they can suck it, losers

It’s a shite show. Unelected lunatic serving an elected lunatic. And the zombie cultists eating it up.
Google federal civil service regs and check out how many law firms show up on page one

Yes… but you’re assuming the rule of law, court decisions, will be followed. Big assumption, given these thugs.

True. We're heading to full on Constitutional crisis. They will eventually gore some congressman's ox and then shite will get real. Congress can cut off the executive branch's balls (money) any time they wish. Alito and Uncle Clarence Thomas might be on their side politically, but I doubt they'll be excited about watching their own judiciary mocked.

Individual states would step in and assume the ownership of lands there is too much local economy around the gateways. Unnecessary to develop it and they want to extract rare minerals more than use it for housing. The fight in Western NC around rebuilding in areas ravaged by Helene but are around or on these mineral deposits is playing out in real time.

Yeah, I figure they have a very long list if things they'd like to do with the land. Much easier to do it, too, when it's controlled by states.

The National Park Service, in my experience, is pretty decent.
Yup. I damn sure don't want Mississippi taking over Vicksburg. These knuckleheads, black and white, Republican and Democrat, would cut the budget and blow the rest of it on their contractor buddies.
Our parks in Mississippi suck and are the first things to be cut whenever there is a budget crunch.

They should cut spending and not extend the tax cuts.
They should absolutely extend the tax cuts. Our taxes were too high. They were an impediment to growth. We should cut the corporate tax rate - remember, this money is double taxed - other than that, we should stand pat.

While a lovely saying if you’re outflow of cash is thousands of dollars saving that 40 cents won’t even get you a cheap cup of coffee.

I can make a cup of coffee at home for less than 20 cents.
