Absolutely horrible! Killed wife, then himself in front of kids...Sick to my stomach! Wonderful lady!

Prayers sent up for all affected. Sadly, the Walters' family lost a 43-yr-old daughter to ovarian cancer in February. Now this senseless tragedy, 2 children gone in less than 6 months

Anyone who graduated from Lafayette High 10-20 years ago knows Coach Walters, Lauri Walters Bodin’s dad. Feel horrible for him losing two daughters in half a year.

Terrible, terrible tragedy. I just read that they married in 1996 but divorced in 1999, because he was abusive towards her. They remarried, and it was one restraining order and arrest after the other for him. Apparently, he was given incredibly lenient punishments like court ordered to Alcoholics Anonymous 3 times instead of real jail time.
She filed for divorce last year and said he had a steroid problem. He lost his oilfield job when coronavirus hit, and she told the court he told her he would kill them both. That’s exactly what happened.
