We do…many of them are still laying on street curbs waiting to be picked up from a hurricane way back in August.

Is the population of BR really just 220k? That's horrendous if that's the number of murders in a city that size.

This is true.

Baton Rouge has better tap water than any city I have been to. In fact the only places that have been comparable were up in the mountains.

Burbank will be a complete mess in 10 years. I mean jesus do we have to build a giant apartment complex every 5 feet and let them fall apart?

Yep, that's all Burbank will be soon. One constant row of Section 8 apartments.

In the city limits that's about right. I think these are for all of the parish but the vast majority happen in the city either way.

Only a few have happened in Baker. The vast majority are happening 70802, 70804, 70805, 70806.

70805 is a real hot zone from homicides. People are dying at a extremely high rate here.

It appears that the homicide that occurred today at the student housing complex off of Burbank was a guy who shot his girlfriend to death. A domestic violence situation

Is this 134? Or were there any others between the 19th & today?

Insanity. I was reading a recent post from Kiran about all of the shootings (not just murders). It’s unbelievable just how many people are shot in this city.
