If they were here I would say stop breaking into cars but since y’all are here can we simmer with bringing guns to the game just to leave in the parking lot?

Honestly, I don’t drive a pickup, or a Kia/Hyundai and at this rate my car is about as safe as ever but my person is not liking all these guns on the street. you may as well be passing them out like Halloween candy. The police aren’t going to fix that for me but maybe y’all could help out?

Can’t we hire a security contractor like blackwater or something to hunt down these gangs? Seriously, it’s a threat to our economy and safety. Ruining the city.

Im completely exhausted defending the city. Something has to change or there’s going to be nothing. No saints, no pelicans, and really no reason to live here.
With how the majority of the city votes, the next mayor will be even worse than the current one.

With the way things are going and the flight of wealth that will likely occur, the city is fricked.

What would happen to New Orleans if the Saints leave?

How difficult would it be to put a NOPD officer in a golf cart to ride around the parking lot during sporting events. This all seems very easy to prevent to me.

Thing is you might need one if you get caught in a shootout on the interstate on the way in or out of the game. The right answer is to just avoid the city altogether because it's a festering cesspool. I fricking hate that place.

I'm told nola is no worse than it used to be. There's always been cars stolen in the city.

That is stated by the same people who keep posting “that has always been a bad neighborhood” in regards to every neighborhood in NOLA.

I guess those people were just parking in a bad neighborhood.

They should have known better.

Pretty sure NOPD doesn’t have enough officers & if they did it’s not like they could chase the stolen vehicles anyway

But you are correct, I'll never go to NOLA if I don't have to for business. MSY, I can skip the shithole for the most part.

I live in BR and I'm not in denial that it's a shithole too but it seems like it's a little easier to avoid here. Still a violent crappy place though for sure. But why would I leave one shithole to visit another one?

Can you apply the $50 for the parking as part of your insurance deductible?

Carjackers should be shot in the face so their mothers can't give them an open casket funeral

Unless a vehicle is stolen for parts or joyriding, I fail to understand why people aren’t caught, arrested and prosecuted. You may not get the person that actually boosted it in the parking lot initially , but you can nab people for conspiracy, receiving stolen property, etc, etc and ultimately wrap everybody up. The police aren’t doing their job. Automobiles have a very pronounced property registration and trail.

They parked on the wrong streets and should have known better.

This happens in every city.

All we need is to not have a Democrat mayor and this goes away.

It’s never happened to me or anyone I know.

Am I missing any?

How hard is it to put cops on rooftops watching with cops staged close by.

It is time to brush up on your French and move back to Orléans (Old Orleans).
