But seriously, when will it rain again? November?

As soon as we start getting regular cold fronts and gulf lows. Yeah, regular rain probably won't start until mid to late November.

I'm pretty sure September and October are our driest months.

I just assume it's going to be hot as balls until at least Halloween. That way I don't get let down.

The Houston guy showed last night that the high that was supposed to slide west and push the front south isn’t timing right and it doesn’t Look like it will get all the way through. I assume it’s similar for La.

Normally, I'd be pissed we haven't had a real cool front yet or don't see one coming in the near future. But I got my pool installed this week, so I ain't mad that I'll have swimming weather for the next couple weeks.

Damn, it's hotter in Birmingham than BR. My FIL likes to call me and talk about the weather and it's usually a few degrees cooler there.

Multiple Potential Cold Fronts Alert

For three weeks we have been told that Multiple Cold Fronts are just around the corner. And every couple of days, that corner gets pushed back further and further. At this rate, it MIGHT get below 70 by Christmas. Unless they push it to New Years. It's frickin' hot and I think it forgot how to rain.

It’s been fire got the past few weeks but the humidity is way down so it’s not bad once the sun starts going down.

Central Alabama has been at the top, or near the top, of the hottest places in America lately.

Our humidity has been down too from mid summer so it's not as miserable. It still sucks to be in the 90s in the final days of September.

I will give you my long term forecast.

Warm temperatures will persist across SE LA through Thanksgiving with an expected cool front around Black Friday. Followed by an extreme cold front in the first week of December that may bring us some snow.

Then warming up to about 70 for Christmas.

Stay tuned for the full forecast.

On the flip side I just checked and we have 38 in the forecast on Monday. It's the low but damn. I was ready for it to cool down but not that much.
