The first nip in the breeze means the white palomino stallion has awoken from its summer slumber and will ride soon.

Check out the beautiful football weather!
Weather app shows wet weather for Saturday the 12th. I don't think they can correctly predict the weather this far out.

Weather similar to Kennebunkport in Baton Rouge on the night of a game against the University of Florida? Marvelous!

Yep, I might have to wear long sleeves or bring a jacket.

Without a doubt! I’ll be sure to bring a tray of salmon puffs to the tailgate!

I just want 60-75° days for a bit
I'm sure that will be the majority of our days for several months starting next week. Much higher chance of the temps being higher than lower, so I'm not sure what most are worried about.

This is the most recent one I've seen for Birmingham.
Only 2 more days of hot
It was 100 in Birmingham today

I just walked outside and found a giant cluster of wasps, probably 30 something of them, on the porch post bunched together but not on a nest. There has been a nest about 3’ away from where they were all summer long inside a gutter cover that I can’t reach, though. I just read that they commonly do this precise thing near their nest when they sense an upcoming major weather change, where they leave the nest in preparation for hibernation away from the cold but first huddle together to make sure they’re all present and safe. I sprayed and killed them all but wanted to come spread the news that now the models and nature both see a major cool down very soon.
It’s here, baws.
Winter is coming.
