idk, just my opinion that if the situation's done and they're leaving, not really posing a threat anymore, don't see the point in plugging someone just because they stole your stuff.

The absolute last thing in the world I would want to do is take another person's life. However, being able to determine when a situation is over in milliseconds while you're in the middle of an adrenaline dump is really hard to do. I've had a good bit of training and have shot plenty of pistol and 3 gun matches and I can tell you that the adrenaline from simple competition is enough to cloud your mind. My first priority is to put as much distance between me and the threat, but I'm not turning my back on that threat just because they're moving away from me.

Another reason why I carry at 5 o'clock. You want my wallet? Sure, let me move my pistol out of the way right quick

I carry there as well. Although, I get wary if I feel like I'm printing because I can't see if someone is trying to make a move for it.

I hope he was alive for 15-20 minutes after. Slowly bleeding out and knowing he would die.

Great hearing about this. If only it could happen more often.

I checked out Spencer's Facebook page. He was a gifted musician. The world is deprived of another great rapper.

Reads like a contemporary Rudyard Kipling.

Maaan. That's part of his culture and you are a racist arse if you don't respect him for it.

No culture is superior to another. All are equally beautiful. If Mozart were still alive, he'd probably make hip hop.

I hope he had a permit and they don't end up charging him just for protecting himself.

Easy for you to Monday morning QB the situation. Now imagine these two thugs mug your arse, you are armed with a pistol and your adrenaline is running higher than it ever has in your entire life. The minute you have a chance to pull your gun and pull that trigger you may very well think you are in harms way as this shite goes down in seconds. If they happen to have turned away and got shot in/near the back in the process of a robbery too bad for those a-holes. The outcome is a symptom of their decision to initiate the robbery, not of the victim who is in a state of mind he/she likely has never been in.

So don't blame the victim here. Blame the thugs.

I agree with you 100%, however, it's a risk wondering what the DA will do based on public pressure etc.

unpopular opinion here i'm sure but if you shoot someone in the back who poses you no (current) threat then you probably should be charged

That's insanely tough to judge, because someone could be running for more cover just to shoot at you again.

Exactly. My stuff and they don't get to have it.
