i built a radio on his show.

I remember the show from when I was a kid. The guy got the show basically because he lucked out and sat next to former Governor Noe on a plane. The two got to talking and Selas started talking about how his dream was to host a children's show. The Governor told him to get in contact with his people in Monroe and they would set something up.
The show was a big hit when it aired and started the career of long-time KNOE news host Judy Waggoner (who was known as Mr Wonder's assistant "Miss Judy" on the show).
From best I remember he and his wife left the country just ahead of the police after the last outing he had with the young kids. It was a black eye on KNOE TV for a long time, even decades later the old-timers would only grudgingly talk about it.
I'm glad they finally caught this animal and can only hope something permanent "accidentally" happens to him on the way back to Louisiana.
