Hey everybody!

I'm 22 years old and am moving to Orlando to start a job in July. I'm looking for suggestions on the best areas to live, and apartments to rent within the area. Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you!

Orlando is a big place.
Live close to where your job is or a direct, short commute. Traffic on major arteries is liable to mess with you daily.

You could probably have the Casey Anthony family house for cheap as they are in foreclosure:

in any new city, I’d want to live downtown. Especially as a 22 year old.

Congratulations. You'll spend a big chunk of the next years of your life stuck in traffic. When someone says "I-4", you'll picture the smoldering depths of hell.

This cannot be stressed enough. Traffic is monstrous and there are few projects happening to make it better. One project is I-4 in downtown. It will be finished in about 400 years.

What is the area you will work in? Living close matters in Orlando.

Not a fan of Orlando - all that Disney stuff gets on my nerves. But, probably better off there than BR or NO.

The good news is he'll still be in Hurricane Country so he can still talk about how crazy people must be to live in OK and CA with all those natural disasters.

Your doing what a lot of people do when they graduate college in Louisiana. Leave! Good luck!

Live close to where you’ll be working.

You’ll learn to hate i4
