Need professional moving company recommendation for Baton Rouge. Moving single story 3BR to 2 story 4BR. Moving less than 5 Miles from current home. A lot of mixed reviews on moving company’s when searching on google.

Disclaimer: I am also completely unable to make decisions on my own without the OTs advice. That and I’d like some of your own experiences bad or good.

Last time I used a moving company it was mostly Russians. Protect your vodka.

Find a friend with a truck.

It's 5 miles. Save money.

We used Two Men and a Truck for both of our moves in the last two years. Had zero complaints as they were extremely punctual and worked really fast. Cost around $800 each time, worth every penny.

I’ve used Two Men and a Truck for a commercial office move and they were great to work with.

Two men and a truck.

If you are no longer in college don’t ask any of your friends to help you move, no one wants to do it. Be an adult and get yourself moved.

Yeah frick this. I’ve had a truck for 40 years and I can’t count how many times I’ve helped “friends” move or haul shite.

Buy your own fricking truck.

Two Men and a Truck.

A lot of people are saying do it yourself. frick that. If you can afford it have pros do it and you won't kill yourself.

Two Men and a Truck.

Went from 3BR to 4 BR six miles away.
Cost us $400 as we got them for big furniture and appliances. They are based on time spent moving

Before looking for a mover, make sure you're dressed well so they know you mean business, and have the cash to pay them on hand. Now drive into the projects looking for help.

Express Delivery

Guys showed up on time, movers were normal dudes, were very careful and worked their butts off. They're insured. Also much cheaper than Two Men and a Truck and didn't come with all the stipulations (minimum fees, etc).

Two men and a truck won't move music equipment or anything "Alive" including potted plants, which I needed done

Based on recommendations from the OT, 3 years ago I used Abba Movers 2 separate times. I was thoroughly pleased.

We handled all of the packing ourselves, so we were prepared for them when they arrived..... I have recommended them to some friends multiple times, and everyone has been extremely satisfied

I have my own truck dick face, that's why I suggested to OP, if he doesn't, then find a friend.

Small movers might steal shite and a big company is expensive.

Pack shite in POV and for larger items get a truck or u-hall.

The first time you pay for movers is a life changing experience and you can never go back to DIY.

This last time people came and packed everything up (work paid for it). That’s another game changer. Not sure I can put that genie back in the bottle.

Yeah that’s the route that I planned on taking. I had a couple friends volunteer but I have plenty of money set aside. And I absolutely hate moving furniture. Probably on my top 10 things I hate to do. Money isn’t really an issue.
