What Happens in Vegas - she'd say she didn't remember and sue for all that money

Forrest Gump - she basically had sex with a HS freshman, she'd somehow sue for Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

What's Your Number? - when Anna Faris had sex with her boss she wakes up confused, clearly rape

Etc.... Do you see where I'm going?

Caroline was a whore and she initiated sex with Farmer Ted. He gets a pass.

Pretty much any movie hookup pre-1996.

I will admit that we've moved the goal post a few times since then, fine. But what the latest movement is considering "rape" has gotten out of fricking hand. And Hollywood has really become a sounding rod for the Social Justice Warriors.

A response to some of the false accusation stories about rape posted on the OT.

For instance I hate the concept of 16 & pregnant or whatever tf it's called but I hate it fundamentally for the way it glorifies a non-desirable life situation, and I'd rather post about it here, not in the movie/TV board bc I'm not commenting on the show concept I'm commenting on how effed up it proves our society is.

Summer of '42. Twenty something year old woman bangs 14 year old and it's all cool.

Good luck.

I didn't RA. Just don't be surprised if someone does and it gets moved. Maybe not.

i recently saw a post on reddit (so take it with a grain of salt) about movie ratings that basically said this: the committee does not like when the woman initiates or even looks enthusiastic about having sex. in most PG13 movies, she has to be coerced, otherwise they will give it an R rating.

it gave a lot of examples but i don't remember any specifics.

There is a John Wayne movie where he rapes a lady in a barn. Then she just starts following him around like a puppy dog.
I always thought that was weird.

I believe the claim is that didn't even have sex, she just thought they didn't.

Still, Jake was a little creepy.

Don't remember that scene, but in "The Quiet Man", John Wayne kicks Maureen O'Hara in the arse, shoves her down, and drags her for about five miles across some fields as the whole village watches. After he's done, she leaves before him so his dinner will be ready when he gets home. Swear to God!

One definitive answer-

gone with the wind!

Rhett says "you're not turning me down tonight" and carries Scarlett up the stairs.

Cut to scene of Scarlett waking up with a huge smile.
