Boarding places are nasty here.

Find a pet sitter, where they can actually go and get attention. The guy we take our dogs to is only $40 per day for both and our dogs get 24/7 attention. The only time dogs are kenneled is for meal time.

Your house will be on AirBnB before nightfall. At least you'll see your going rate for future reference

If they have dogs I guess it's okay. I wouldn't want to feed your dogs, but I don't have animals of my own.

We all hit it off immediately, mature couple with 20 year old son in school. They see my family daily and we've hung out other than the awkward hello you say to a neighbor you don't like.

If I wanted to take care of dogs I'd have my own. If you can't take care of yours then maybe you shouldn't have them.

How is going out of town and needing a pet sitter the same as not being able to take care of them?

why do people feel the need to burden neighbors with pets just because you have to go out of town?
