I just purchased a Mountain Hardwear windstopper

Would you say a wind stopper is less than or greater than a wind breaking?

If he e to think greater than but I’ve had some really great windbreakers in my time.

I understand your experience with outdoor wear is on your way from the car to the local McDonald's, but some of us actually use the gear for the intended purpose as stated by the company. It isn't my fault you misrepresented yourself and now are welching on your guarantees.

Not that it helps you, but Patagonia is good about that.

They gave me store store credit for a couple of wind breakers I’d bought over the years. The waterproof lining was peeling off.

But they gave me credit for the value of the purchases, at the time I bought them.

Which was way overboard.

If every seam detached then the lifetime of the product ended.

I’m an elite athlete, the pocket arms and lining seems just disintegrated but how horrible of you to say such a thing

Sales rep for a short time. I honestly always thought mountain Hardwear was better quality so I invested a lot into a jacket I thought would last. But I saw how TNF honored their lifetime warranty. Just frustrating that companies promise false warranty, take your money then deny you a claim

I do not work in sales I work in public safety. I don’t care about TNF just appreciated that they were true to their promise.

I assume everyone with their fat jokes are super ripped and lean. I am an elite athlete and the small jacket is actually big for me. The glue they use has a very short lifespan

I bet your MH was before hey merged with Columbia. I used to love MH for their quality. Both my parents had the same jacket as me with the same issues and they had to fight but eventually got replacements

Whatever it takes to get the company to
Do the right thing. I’m just blown away how many jackholes there are out there with nothing better to do than post thousands of posts on these sites. Makes me sad

Not an oopsie. The pocket and the under arm seem just fell apart. I did nothing. I actually can’t stand when people refuse to take their own responsibility for breaking or tearing an item. This is an issue of poor quality material and glue
