No not really, just never sympathized and thought they should stop whining so much.

They should have used a condom and the pill. Maybe the child is their world in the cliche', but they never should have had that child when they were so financially unprepared.

There is no unplanned pregnancy unless two forms of birth control failed. Pulling out is not birth control.

Nobody questions the amount of work. We should question why someone even had a kid if they did not want the job

Motherhood is actually pretty easy

(ETA: It is an important job, but it isn't all that difficult.)

If they weren’t hooked on creampies maybe they’d have a little more free time.

So, basically some black chick got pregnant and the kid won’t have a father figure in his life?

Regardless of how difficult motherhood is, the ones talking about it so much on social media usually don’t have anything else going for them.

People say being a mom is a full-time job, right? Wrong. It is actually the equivalent of two and half full-time jobs

That is 100% BS. There are breaks in there. “Work time” =/= start time to finish time.

Maybe i lucked out and out kicked my coverage, but my wife and i have two kids and have only had this discussion once. She was a stay at home mom when they were small. Any time she started to stress out, and take it out on me, i would remind her that, “...when school starts, your schedule gets MUCH easier. My schedule stays the same.”

Well, as luck would have it, she has decided to go back to work now that the kids are getting older.

Or, maybe I am spoiled......

After analyzing their weekly schedules, researchers said the average mom regularly worked 14-hour days. The average mom started at 6:23 a.m. and ended the day at 8:31 p.m., with only 1.7 hours of free time in between.

That’s not work. That is life. I have to take care of myself 24 hours a day. Does that count as work? Taking the dogs out for a walk - is that work? No, it’s fricking life

I’d love to have those days back and get to experience them growing up again. You blink and those days are gone.

Depressing thought of the day: At some point, you picked your kid up and put them down for the very last time.

Chances are, you don’t even remember it.

I had to take care of my sick kid for 4 days without my wife a few months back and I will never talk shite about single moms anymore, no matter how annoying some are on Facebook.

Wife had to leave really early the other morning for work which put me in charge of getting the 2 year old to daycare and the 4 year old to school. I just about died. I was an hour and a half late for work, forgot to brush their teeth, their clothes didn’t match and I doubt those ponytails made it to lunch.

My fault, MIL offered to come help and I said I could handle it
