So lately, my 13 year old son had been acting a little... entitled. Acting like he's too good to shop at Wal-Mart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at the goodwill and quite a few other things. I don't tolerate that.
Today, he took his own 20.00 to the goodwill to buy clothes to wear the entire week to school. Whatever he found is what he would have to wear. He isn't happy and shed a few tears ( ) but I firmly believe in 15 years he will look back and laugh at the day his Mom made him shop at goodwill.
I want to teach my kids that money isn't everything and if you have to degrade other people because of where they shop, then you too will shop there. Side note, I love the goodwill!!

My only regret to this is that he only had to do it for a week. Should have been for the rest of the school year at a minimum.

And, if anyone of you Facebookers want to post some photos of Cierra, we'd appreciate it.

I would think he has a better chance finding less shitty clothes at goodwill than walmart

She could have done this without posting it on the fb but she needed the attention and validation.

Good for mom. Only thing that is missing is a switch on that arse. Can't stand kids making fun of kids who didn't win the DNA or social status lottery. Not their fault.

Talking about how her kid sucks and how she is disciplining him to everyone on fb is a great improvement.

I had to work at goodwill for 32 hours. Great wxperience.

I learned more about retail in those 4 days than i expected, and i also know goodwill has some decent crap.

I spent over 100 bucks my last hour there i knew where the good stuff was
