I did it too and maybe because it was a college town as a form of charity people would buy brand new name brand stuff and drop it off at Goodwill. Getting Polo shirts for $3.99 with the tags still on them was pretty awesome for a young lad.

My only regret to this is that he only had to do it for a week. Should have been for the rest of the school year at a minimum.

Mom lays down some solid consequences on her child and some kid from the OT night crew still decides that wasn’t good enough.

Never change OT.

My kids love the Goodwill. Would not be a punishment.

My wife holds my youngins to a moral standard. “We don’t expect a damn thing from them other than being good people. We don’t make them do chores, so I will be damned if they act like assholes to anyone!”

Mom is probably one of the most sweetest/caring people I know towards others, but she will jack up a teen who’s acting like a dick......particularly when it’s aimed at a twin brother.

On topic: Goodwill has some swanky shite. Hell its retro heaven.

Just kids?
Much of Tiger Droppings is this exact thing.

I once had a co-worker who was, cheap. On his kids birthdays, he would let them shop at the Goodwill store to pick out some clothes.
On his daughter's 16 birthday, he was going to bring her out to shop, and she asked," what Goodwill store are we going to?" She was shocked to learn that they were going to a regular store.
Now, this is an extreme case, but I guarantee, his daughter won't be a spoiled child and will certainly know the value of a dollar.

If he isn't wearing a uniform to school he shouldn't be making fun of people for being poor

You can get used polo and brooks brothers shirts and shite at goodwill

By the looks of it, they are more of a starter jersey/affliction/saggy jeans type of family

this lady is from Hog Mountain, GA which is basically Buford, GA a very affluent area, so you can probably find decent things at the goodwill, but good on the mom for teaching her son not to be a shithead.

Bingo

Love the parenting she displayed, but posting it to FB for everyone to know is pretty shitty on her part.

Ii think this is pretty good parenting, but even my mother would probably be hesitant to buy clothes from a thrift store.

this is at least somewhat ironic given how much shopping she did for the family at consignment shops, when I was a kid.

just dropped off a load of Cremieux, Ralph Lauren, and Zanella suits/pants at the Burbank Goodwill. Too tight in the arse and out of style anyway. That kid can go get some baller clothes for $10.
