Yes, I’m completely aware that people are assigned a gender at birth based on their genitalia

But I also believe something can occur between birth and later on that can make someone not feel as though they relate to their assigned gender

To disagree that things can go awry like that is willful ignorance

It’s almost like not believing in being gay, or possibly even mental illness

Lol at you for thinking trans people aren’t born to intact families

That a much further stretch than I’m not attracted to the opposite sex like most

Or I don’t relate to my assigned sex

Why are these feelings only allowed to happen at a certain age?

I don’t necessarily agree with kids taking hormones before they’re fully developed

But it makes no sense to think this can’t happen and all these people are making it up

BS. I knew I was different at 7, and by 10 knew I wanted to be a girl. I grew up in a southern household, with conservative Republican parents, in suburban Atlanta.

And yeah, I’m TD’s token transgendered person

Again I’m not a doctor. My friend transitioned while in the military and is still in. I don’t think all kids who want to transition are prepared to make that life changing decision.
