probably not smart on the teachers part.
I also follow some teachers on instagram and some of the things they post on there are insane.
I'd imagine once you hit middle school (sadly) most of those kids are on social media and probably look their teachers up. It blows my mind how much attention people need and how little they think about what they show online. At the end of the day I just feel bad.

I'm not outraged, but that teacher is legitimately stupid for thinking this would fly without an issue. You're basically insulting someone's kid.
I most likely wouldn't be offended and wouldn't care, but I'd bet that more than a handful would get their panties in a bunch over it.

Lol... Mom's mad her kid got a shitty award. Teacher will probably get fired, and all of little Derek's classmates are going to call him Zombie-Boy from now on.
