Alicia Morton, the girl who played Annie in the 1999 remake and was from Gonzales, signed a blockbuster receipt when I saw her at the Gonzales blockbuster not long after the movie came out. I was just a kid and that was the only signable thing I had
Funny thing is a few years later we ran cross country at EA together. I still have the receipt somehow because it was stowed away in a mini-safe I had since I was that age and just never threw it away. I held on to that, but lost my Globetrotters basketball signed by the whole team

Not me, but a friend has a Copenhagen can that was signed by Freddy Fender.
We were on the same Pony League team around 1980. Freddy was at Opening Day because his nephew played on a team in the league. Lot of kids were gathering around him asking for autographs and my friend, who was apparently a big fan, was lamenting the fact that he didn't have anything for Freddy to sign. I asked "what about your Copenhagen can in your back pocket?" His face broke out in a smile as he ran off to get his can signed.
I don't know if he still has the can today.

I've got a copy of "Papillon" signed by Henri Charriere
I didn't seek it out rather than it was gifted to me after doing some work on a house in the French Quarter for a widow who's husband collected books.
She was getting rid of dozens of them and asked if I would like them and said yes, thank you.
That was back in the late 70's and I still have the book, having read it a few times over the years.
Other than that, nothing as I'm not a real fan-boy to any celebrity/psuedo-celebrity.

Presidential autographs hold up pretty well in value, doesn't matter which President. There's a pretty good market for them.
Useless to me, I got it while helping with the 1992 Presidential convention. He was there on a site visit before the convention and signed the back of my security pass. I also met Dan Quayle before he was announced as VP. He was as vapid in person as on TV. I became an independent that year.

A golf ball signed by Cameron Tringale a few years back. I was marshalling at the Zurich on 7 tee and it was backed up as usual since they all go for it in 2. Cameron had another group in front of him and asked if he could sit in my chair in the shade. I said go ahead and after he teed off he handed me a signed ball. Don't know why I kept it but I still have it. When he had the opening round lead by a big margin at the Scottish Open I thought I might have a ball with a little value if he won.

I have some from bands that didn't do well over the long term. Pimpadelic comes to mind - their best song was "Tits Will Be Alright"

Given that I grew up walking distance from Lambeau Field, I had dozens of autographs from guys that never made the team. Had some good ones too.
Side note, caddied for Ray Nitschke once. He was still an intimidating badass. Nice though and a solid golfer. Thought he broke my hand when he shook it

I have a 1995 World Series baseball signed by Dwight Smith of the Atlanta Braves. No clue where this ball came from. I've looked him up and only notable stat about him is he was the runner-up for Rookie of the Year in '89 but only got 2 our of 24 first place votes. He is however the first and only MLB rookie to sing the national anthem before a game

Was it theirs, or just did they act like they were signing?

When I was a kid I wrote ALF’s fan club and received a autographed Glamour Shot of ALF. I kind of wish I kept it now because it was actually pretty funny.

I have an autograph from a Russian hockey player named Zakhar Arzamastsev. He never played in the NHL and now plays in the Czech Republic.
