Toyota Land Cruiser

You don’t buy a Land Cruiser for speed or MPG.

You buy it because it is well made, durable, and will go 300,000 miles plus with routine maintenance.

The answer is the Tacoma.

Sure, it was a solid vehicle from inception to mid 2000's but it is still overrated. A decent used one, no matter the year is 90% of original MSRP or greater, and its not a good driving vehicle.

The past 15+ years Toyota has been riding on their reputation, they peaked 2006...

Again, not BAD but way over rated.

I’m not dropping that amount on money on a boat that looks like it was made during the era of McMansions and Tuscan kitchens.

Bruh all the moms in our pick up line are going to be so offended. I think all the baws driving trucks with AT tires are hilarious. Myself included. 80-90% of my total miles are on the road vs our farm. ETA: I don’t get the hype over the new Land Cruiser and Lexus equivalent, GX? friend got one and RAVED over it. I drove it for about 20 minutes and was very meh for a high 5 figure vehicle.

I don’t get those either. I thought I would like them but they didn’t do it for me. I like speed.

We now know what you don't like. What vehicles do you prefer?

Toyota Rav 4 - wasn’t cheap to fill up either.

G-Wagon- it’s pretty mid, I sold mine fast

I refuse to believe someone who purportedly owned and sold a G Wagon at some point thinks 15 gallons of regular is pricey

My favorite thing to do at work is park next to the douche with the 911T with my 12 year Camry. It's almost a game at this point.

I’ll agree with you on Jeeps. Trash vehicles with poor reliability, but that cult keeps gobbling them up.

Toyota Land Cruiser- same thing with the Rav 4

It’s also the most reliable SUV platform of the last 30 years.

But you’re correct that there are other vehicles with more features.

There was a pretty cool tax loophole involving G Wagons for business owners during the COVID period.

Otherwise I’m not a fan.
