That’s really one of the less weird things about LDS. Which is pretty impressive. If you’re ever in SLC go check out the Joseph Smith propaganda video at the temple square. It’s pretty funny.

Mormons are really nice when they're in the minority. A lot of the small towns in UT, AZ, ID, NV and WY are overwhelmingly LDS. It can be pretty lonely if you're not one of them.

Many of their weird beliefs only seem weird in comparison to other religions because we have only been hearing about them for 200 years and not 2000.
