i know it's debatable and a matter of personal preference, but most agree Bob Dylan was a prolific song writer.
on Dylan's most recent tour of Japan, he played a different grateful dead cover at each of his gigs.
Willie Nelson is another prolific song writer. He opens every concert with Whisky River. (not a song he wrote) One of his and Elvis's biggest hits, "You Were Always On My Mind" was not written by Nelson either.

yeah, sure. DCFC are phenomenal live and ben gibbard is a great songwriter. Not sure that is some secret.
