It’s taken four years, four hellish years these innocent people will never get back.

quote:

One of four Houston attorneys assigned to handle four Twin Peaks biker cases as special prosecutors dismissed the remaining three cases Monday and called the way the McLennan County District Attorney's Office handled the 2015 deadly shootout a "harebrained scheme" that was "patently offensive" to him.

quote:

I do have a very serious problem as a lawyer with the wholesale charging of people without an investigation," he said. "They had plenty of time to conduct an investigation. They had plenty of time to do what they needed to do to find out who the parties needed to be in this harebrained scheme. It is just patently offensive to me. Justice is the sword and the shield. You had a number of folks who never should have been charged and whose lives have been turned upside down unnecessarily, and that is something you can't change. You can't take back what has happened over the last four years.

Does this mean the bikers didn't have a shootout in Twin Peaks?

I have a feeling that a few witnesses faced down the possibility of a mud check via ballpeen hammer.

No. It means the vast majority of the people rounded up and charged with serious felony violations were nothing more than innocent bystanders. Read the story of you can.

These trumped up charges have cost the state millions in lost heroin sales

Kinda hard to do when you’ve lost your job, lost your house, and even had your kids taken from you.

I was really hoping for long jail sentences for all of them... most guys (not all because I know a couple)in biker gangs are racists...

Every time I’m in San Marcos hooters on a Saturday afternoon I feel like twin peaks Waco is about to repeat itself. Luckily there are enough feds inside to deter it I think

I do. But my riding days have ended.

But this story isn’t about bikers. It’s about out of control government shitting on innocent people’s lives then wiping its arse with the constitution. This wast just a local case. The feds were there there that day and took part in the operation. Anyone who’s not a complete left-wing progressive statist should be horrified at what the government did that day.

If that’s all you see, you’re both a simpleton and an idiot. I cannot help you.

also

"This is a tale of government overreach and prosecutorial misconduct"

If you disagree, take your concerns to the special prosecutors who have been dismissing case after case. They’re the ones being quoted in the article I linked from the Waco Tribune. I’m sure they’ll put far more weight in your legal expertise over their own.
