They brought it on themselves. The second you start spewing ESG stuff, you are taking political stances as a corporation. Better expect the blow back.

That is why I love watching this crap unfold when they delve off into the liberal nonsense world. They alienate their customer base, and then realize nothing they do would ever appease the alphabet mafia anyway, and they end up mad too. All that ends up happening is their sales drop and everybody is mad.

Just run your store and sell your product.

I would love to see the business model that supports DEI.

Most tractors are either green or red. I’ve never seen a white, black, pink, orange, purple, or neon green one.

Why can’t we all just get along but then again maybe John Deere, Massey Ferguson, and others should start making them in this color I mean DEI and all

In the article, John Boyd is calling for resignation like he's some kind of elected political leader.... He's a CEO. He doesn't represent the "people" or even need to. He represents the shareholders, and they like don't give a shite about participating in DEI activities in the workplace either.

Businesses should focus on running their businesses, not appeasing agendas.

Tractor Supply can survive without the National Black Farmers Association. They cannot however survive without farmers, period. And that's the way it certainly appeared to be trending.

Isn't that the same group DEMographic that Biden tried to carve out a huge windfall for, but white farmers were able to stop because they were unable to profit from it, themselves since it was discriminatory?

Why, yes. Yes it was.

I suspect that conservatives are not that fired up about the diversity race directives. This seems to be more about LSGBIWUE#(@ diversity.

When all else fails and you have no substance for any sort of discussion or thought, just say racist.

This x 1000%.

As usual, reality is literally the polar opposite of what they claim is the case (and make a living exploiting) - country folks get along with their neighbors much better than city people, regardless of race.

“He’s gone too far — and we have to let him know we’re not going to sit back and take this mess anymore,” Boyd said, adding that the organization may consider calling for a boycott of Tractor Supply if nothing changes in the coming days. “We’re tired of (being) mistreated by the government and Fortune 500 companies. ... Black farmers are going to start fighting back. And that’s what we’re doing.”

Google says it’s a grassroots organization
The BFA says they help tens of thousands of black farmers.
All the black farmers I know act more white than me. They are more salt of the earth than I am.
They probably don’t exist outside one person trying get money off woke crap

ESG
Some institutions use ESG scores to determine if they will invest in certain companies.
