Funny you left this part out of my comment:
I haven’t defended a damn thing. I simply said their texts were not evidence of rape.

Were they incorrect in their assumption that’s what she wanted? Perhaps, but based on her behavior it wasn’t crazy.

n this case,we shouldn't defend what sounds like entitled idiots that made some very bad decisions with those snapchats.

Does “stand up for what’s right” include pushing back when the accusations go beyond the evidence? Or does that only apply to people you like?
Nobody’s applauding the damn Snapchats. Questioning the media narrative and looking at what each guy actually did isn’t endorsing their behavior.
We can make that distinction without the “as men” sermon. You thinking they’re entitled idiots doesn’t make everyone questioning the accusations morally beneath you.

[Male Number 2] told [Jane Doe] he was pretty sure he wasn’t going to vomit. Eventually, [Jane Doe and Male Number 2] would start making out for a very short amount of time.”
Of all the trashy behavior outlined here this is really repugnant. ...Who the frick continues to make out with someone who was just dry heaving and about to blow chunks....

Another wild fact is that Jane was 20 years old at the time of the incident but alleged to have been drinking with her chapter house mother which presumably the person responsible for trying to keep things on the rails.
Her and the house mother leave the house and go to a bar called Moonies in downtown Ithaca where Jane alleges she was served more drinks even though she was tagged with an X on each hand for being underage.
In any event, Jane has sued the bar under dram shop theory which is also kind of wild because the drunk person can't typically recover for injuries which are a result of their own drunkenness.
Point is the night started out getting lit with her own house mother.

If this is just the girl, Ingalls, and Newall doing drugs and having a devil's threesome, then there is no real risk of rape charges.
Why I believe the text messages creates exposure to criminal liability (not guilt) is not only because of what it says, but who sent it, when it was sent, and what the sender did prior to sending it. Apparently Ingalls also posted a picture of the girl in the chat:
So what does the picture show? Is she passed out? Is she spread eagle and beckoning?
The text message is a piece of circumstantial evidence that could be used in a rape prosecution.
You've explained why you think it is evidence of a continuation of the party. The ultimate outcome will depend on the context in which it is framed.

Ingalls is reportedly the one who shared a picture of Doe in a fraternity group chat on Snapchat and told the others they could “walk in and whip it out.

The “ultimate outcome” under Letitia James? She was already saying “We stand with you” before taking over the investigation.
So is she investigating what happened, or looking to validate the position she already announced? There’s your “context.”

I do not consider the question of whether charges will be brought as the "ultimate outcome," because it is not the ultimate outcome.
I suspect there will be come kind of prosecution. By "ultimate outcome," I meant: will they be convicted by a jury that is presented with all the evidence?

Yes with this I 100% agree (although this fact by no means they are guilty of rape) and this was part of my advice to my son and one of the ultimate lessons from this, as a male, which is “discretion”. Keep things on the down low. Don’t kiss and tell. Ect ect. Obviously these guys were in the presence of a loose women and they got excited, to me it seems obvious what they were going through. It was exuberance at the prospect of sex like they have in pornos. And, quite frankly, that seems to be pretty much what they experienced…untill 4 weeks later when she started feeling ashamed.

Agree to disagree but I will admit there are many that will have a visceral reaction to the texts and immediately assume guilt.

I think a deft defense attorney will have no trouble putting the texts in a reasonable light. Anyone on the jury who has teenage boys will see the texts for what they are.

Yup. It’s the same revulsion many women had when Trump said “grab em by the pussy”. They heard those words and they literally lost their minds.

correct.
Innocent, guilty, or somewhere in between, these young men unfortunately face the same problem: their fate will be in the hands of women with an agenda.

Doe gave Cornell police a lengthy interview. She described memory gaps and coercion and expressly told the investigator that she believed she had been raped. Reuters reports that the transcript records her saying she could state with “100% confidence” that she had been raped. But the shorter sworn statement sent to the Tompkins County DA did not contain that explicit rape allegation. DA Matthew Van Houten later said the statement he reviewed instead described her drug use and sexual activity as voluntary, conscious and consensual.
This is from ChatGPT, but it’s factual. The “explicit rape allegation”…. Whether it was rape was a legal conclusion. I would not have included that in a summary of her statement.
Come back to this post in the future when part of the case is how she went to AI and chatted the facts. Mark it down.

Seems like the sodomy was consensual since he invited his buddy.

You may want to look up the definition of sodomy. It's not just what happened when your back was skyward at one of your family reunions.
I would imagine he's referring to oral sex performed by her.
Just guessing. He's playing things on a razor's edge but boldly.

You have to remember, the single driving force behind feminism is hatred of men. That takes precedence over any other consideration. Even though they've blathered about "sex positivity" and crusaded against the evils of "slut shaming", that is irrelevant if the chance to crucify men is possible. The fact men enjoyed sex at (in their opinion) the expense of a victimized female is all that matters. Her enjoyment of, and willing participation in, a squalid and unseemly act must be ignored. They must be lynched to satisfy the progressive mob. They facts of this case will be irrelevant as in the George Floyd case.
