Yeah frick all of that. I could maybe see doing it a week, but the food situation and stuff would start to suck in a hurry.
You can find cheap rooms to rent in people’s houses for a decent weekly rate.

With a destabilized family structure, the rise of promiscuous single life and decoupling rather than marriage, the reliance on AI and social media for constant escape, housing unaffordable, large city life desires, and mobile offices becoming the norm between California, Texas, Florida, and the Carolinas, you’ll just have “professional” RV parks all over the place probably subsidized by the government through green initiatives and SBA loans. Kids will leave college and never have to settle down or grow up. They’ll just stay in one place until bored or out of options and drive to the next city full of bars and “eclectic local scenes” and of course new people they haven’t either banged or burned bridges with. Rinse repeat every year or two until regret sets in. It’ll be a hell of a generation to witness.

i just wanted to pop in and say
i know about 7 normal people
everyone else is off their rocker in my experience, including, perhaps, yours truly

You're literally the loser that's mad I won't tell you how much more I make than you.

key to a stoic modicum of profit and freedom; anyone that matters will understand or pose the question - so what?

Where did I ask how much you make? You said you know people making good money who are homeless and I asked you what is good money in your opinion. Then you preceded to cry about it

Here in my car, I feel safest of all
I can lock all my doors, it's the only way to live

I can listen to you, it keeps me stable for nights
In cars
Here in my car, where the image breaks down
Will you visit me please, if I open my door?
In cars
Here in my car, I know I've started to think
About leaving tonight, although nothing seems right

Really not that difficult. Thousands of truckers live in their trucks every night.
Truckers today have rigs that are like a tiny studio apartment. Full length bed, fridge, microwave, wifi, coffee maker, storage, can fully stand up, etc. I’ve seen videos of guys cooking full meals of steak and potatoes on an electric grill. Not quite the same as a Ford Explorer.

The implication that I won't give in to your vague datamining, so I must be one of the poors. It's the only way you can feel better about whatever insecurity you're drinking away right now: raging like a lunatic at literal who's on a semi-anonymous message board.

I would get one of those cheap conversion vans if that was my situation.

What will they do when the leftist loons replace cars with high speed trains?
Posted on 5/20/25 at 8:58 pm to Stealth Matrix
You’re projecting your insecurities on me, I simply was trying to understand your perspective by asking a valid question. If you simply responded hey I know a few people making x and based on their location they can’t buy a home that’s a whole different conversation.
I couldn’t care less what you or anyone else on this board makes nor have I talked about it with the exception of Babytacs trolling arse
Btw, I don’t drink. You’ve made plenty of telling assumptions

I have people working under me making well into six figures that live in their cars, for various reasons. Divorce and/or child support raped, the local roach motels price gouging everyone to death, being priced out of their home markets,
Well into six figures huh. Alright whatever you say.

Flame away hoss, I have zero issue with how much money others make, including you. I have plenty of buddies making 7 figures and I’m happy as shite for them as long as they get my round of golf

My focus was on your claim more and more people are doing it. You’re talking about a plant being built in bum frick, a little bit more of an understandable situation than the OP.

It's not hard to imagine if the fresh hands can't afford to break into the market without enslaving themselves permanently, that folks with less than them won't be able to, either. But, you enjoy that DC bubble. Say hi to my fam if you're lucky enough to meet him.

“Vanning.” Lots of videos out there of turning minivans into conversions. I see the appeal.

My username was made in 2009. Haven’t lived in DC since 2014. Been firmly planted in the south ever since.
Hope that new plant and all those high six figure salaries work out for your underlings, maybe you should pay them more, oh wait, you can’t because you yourself work for the “man” as you say, correct?

I know a guy who lived in Knoxville. TN, who would drive to Atlanta, Ga. work all week and sleep in his Car. then drive back Friday.
He was a Shipmate when I was in the Navy. That was 20-25 years ago.
