I heard on radio that the kid told the police that he took it from Head Start. He also said that he was playing in several buses, go into this one, and it had push button start. He pushed the button, and it started. He then decided to take it for a drive.
The brainless wonder who hid a remote key in the bus, and didn't realize that anyone could start it and go needs to enroll themselves in head start.
ETA: I am so thankful that I don't have to parent that kid. He's a load. WTF is a little white kid doing in that area anyway?

the photo that i saw the other day of the kid in handcuffs, looked very much like it was a white kid. I know, i know that sounds impossible, but that's what i saw. the only thing that makes me think it was not a white kid, is they removed all the photos of the kid in handcuffs because to many people complained. if he wasn't black that would not have happened. the photos were from the kids backside.

So the kid apparently stole the bus from private property 2 miles away from the school.
I hope little bus thief dude has an alibi for when old baw died...
