to legalization alone is a fool’s errand. If anything, the stats seem to reflect shifting, casual attitudes towards usage.

Couldn't you say the casual attitude stems from it being legalized?

consumption among women almost doubled in size in between 1984 and 2015,

I graduated college in 84. If we were at a party back then, my buddies and I would slip out and burn one and never talk with our gf's about it. We assumed they knew about it, but it was kind of a don't ask, don't tell situation. They were sorority girls. I thought they just put up with us. One of those old gf's moved to where I was living and on our 1st date since college, she pulled out a joint and lit it. They were going out to one of their cars doing it at the same time we were. Back then they would have lied about it on a survey.

I have had that exact situation happen + having drank earlier in the night. Still just got a friendly warning.

it simply fathoms my mind that the people who scream small gov't, rights, freedom, etc. are the first ones to tell me who you can/can't sleep and what plants you can/can't grow.

if a plant grows naturally and requires no adulteration to use it, there is no way in hell it should be illegal.

should be legal to grow personally, imo. i do believe there should be laws against selling it, but for personal use or giving a little to friends should absolutely be legal.

Yes, you should. Though you'll fail at peyote, unless you move to a desert. I think every adult should try psychedelics at least once.

there are lots of plants that are dangerous and illegal to grow. plus some plants are just bad like tallow trees and kudzu

this is a horrible argument. If you're a weed addict just admit, don't try to say that its a plant and shouldn't be illegal
