The Judge is actually somewhat of a Civil War guy, but definitely not on the side of the men depicted in these monuments.

Then he should recuse himself

It's worth the monument.

I wish Stewart would buy them and prominently display them in an area where they'd get more attention...

at Mitch Bitch telling the committee how their time would be better spent.

I think Mitch Bitch's time would be better spent tackling the real issues of NOLA like crime and shitty streets...you know, what he's actually being paid to do. But hey, that's just me.

And Mitch's time would be better spent solving a violent crime rate that now exceeds chicago's.

Pretty sure it's been exceeding Chicago, just not at these stratosphere levels

This is going to be a hot hot summer fellas. There have been a bunch of revenge killings in the last few weeks and a few different young factions beefing right now.

BREAKING: Judge Kern Reese denies a request for a temporary restraining order to keep the Beauregard monument in place.

So. Judge Reese is in favor of destruction of property, conversion and trespass?

That name sure sounds familiar. I suspect there's connections to the Landrieu machine.

This is just my opinion, but I think City Park did own this land at one time, but when the street was cut through, the property became property of the city and this has already come out. I hope thats wrong but have a feeling it's not.

A long time ago it was Jefferson parish. Jefferson used to go to Carrollton.
