Mommy and daddy (assistant coach) threaten to "end" sports editor for tweet

about their son's bad snap during a high school football game.
Here is the tweet: “Vikings snap on a punt nearly goes over Cody Stephens’ head. Instead he gets it off and it’s downed at the Parsons 30. Pitt ball.”
Frye and one other witness to the alleged threats told the Sun that Sherri Misener, the mother of the PHS athlete who snapped the ball on that play, confronted Frye on the field after the game and said the tweet upset her son
coach Misener got within an inch of Frye’s face and told Frye that if he ever tweeted about his son again, “I will end you. Do you understand me?” Misener used an expletive in the conversation.

There is a thin-skinned, hopelessly ignorant and narcissistic jackass like this at every kids sporting event in America.

you can see why the kid was upset by that innocuous tweet....it's crazy sensitive blood running through his veins

Tell that shite to learn to snap if he doesn't like reading tweets about himself.

Maybe her son ought to work on snapping practice instead of reading tweets during the game...? When would this kid have had time to read this if she was able to confront this guy on the field?

What I wouldn't give to understand what goes on in the head of people like the father. What makes one react like this over something so trivial blows my fricking mind.

Fully support a parent looking out for their kid. Deep snapping is a useless skill that nobody needs but self esteem will be important throughout this kid's life.
Good job on the parents for having perspective on what's important and sticking up for their child.

maybe he shouldn't be reading tweets during the game

My hope is the kid does something awesome and absolutely no one on the local media mentions it.
