Seriously. My daughter is 8. She goes back and forth on wanting to adopt kids, to having kids, to never having kids in 10 minutes. I would never let her decide on her fertility at the age of 8.

I gave him $30, but this is by far the best thread I’ve ever made. We’re helping out an abused child and a desperate father, so I’m proud of this site as a whole. There are probably a dozen plus people who have donated without saying anything. Good job everyone!

Right? I got sucked into it and read the blog and court documents. This lady is insane and apparently has money. I just couldn’t imagine going to my kids pediatrician and her saying, yes I think it’s a good idea to sterile your son. Isn’t there some Hippocratic oath she took to do no harm?

I watched a show one time where a mom did this with her daughter.. however, the mom was messed up in her head (not so much the father doing anything wrong), but she took the daughter and vanished.. she was finally tracked down in Australia years later, the daughter was at least 18 years old..
the father had been looking for the daughter for a very long time.. eventually one of the friends of the mother in Australia figured it out and e-mailed the dad. It was a wild story, but it's certainly doable. His little country american girl turned into an Australia sounding adult.
