Probably, but I doubt she gets enough money to retire on. Her hands are dirty too, with the arrest. It's a tried and true example of both sides were irresponsible and share negligence.

You know she is going to sue. But,

this is accurate. apt complex is also going down.
my son works at sams club and they are FREAKY about spills..so much so every single employee carries around a little folded diaper than can absorb like 2 gallons of water.
i know because i washed his pants one time and he left it in them and i was like WTF is that thing coming out of the washer?
point is apt complex doesn't really have a leg to stand on here.

I'm not trying to completely absolve her at all.
But for for it to 100% be on her when the pool was so cloudy they couldn't see a drowned kid at the bottom is wrong.

I was wondering about this as well...so they literally left the kids soaking in the pool all the way up until the call was made and first responders showed up? WTF?
You would think that as soon as someone noticed they were missing they would have piled into the pool and pulled them out to try to save them. For all they knew, they might have been able to save one or more. Odd that they were just all "yup, they dead...I ain't goin in to pull them out".

If you can't see to the bottom of a "pool" and your children can not swim well enough to keep from drowning, do not: 1)let them swim in that nasty pool
2) leave them unattended in the pool

Not that the complex doesn't have responsibilities but I bet there was a sign saying "swim at your own risk" or something to that effect

article i read said a maintenance worker jumped in and pulled 2 of them out.
the first responders pulled the 3rd one out.
