I went to undergrad at USA and we had some days off. I went to a couple of balls. It isn’t New Orleans Madi Gras, but we had some damn good times as college students.

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about the billboard New Orleans put up in Mobile by now, right?

Mobile definitely doesn't have shite on Nola. I live in Mobile, on the parade route. But I'll be in Nola for at least Muses and Fat Tuesday.

Parades in Mobile and too quickly. They throw more, but don't have emblem beads ilor signature throws, have barricades, and not much going that's off the main parade route. There's no neighborhood parades like St Ann or Krewe of Dreaux, and much less music.

Mobile is the 2nd best Mardi Gras in America. But the gap is pretty big between the two. I pretty much only go Mobile Oates because of family. But in Nola, I used to walk in 3-4 a season.

Cajun Mardi Gras does interest me. But I don't know what to think about chain gang marches and chasing chickens.

Eh, both are pretty trashy, but at least New Orleans has other stuff to do Uptown and you can get away from all the filth.

While I'm not butt hurt by the sign. It is unfair to post false claims about being the original Mardi Gras in America.

That is false and should be called out for misleading.

You have been the perfect example of an insecure douche in here

Perfect case study

tilco was asked directly if Mobile got off school for Mardi Gras, so he answered

And you had to give a typical NOLA douche response
