A few new details have emerged in the murder of a south Alabama family following the arrest of the suspect Tuesday.
New court records indicate that William Graham Oliver, 54, allegedly entered the Wilmer home of Lisa Ferguson on April 19 with the intent to rob her prior to killing her and her two children, Keziah Luker, 17, and Thomas Cordelle, 12.
Oliver, who knew the family, allegedly used an unknown sharp object to murder Ferguson and Cordelle by causing severe lacerations to both victims. The records state Luker, who was eight months pregnant, was shot by Oliver, killing both her and her unborn child.

WILMER, Ala. (WKRG) — As 54-year-old William “Bill” Oliver was handcuffed and escorted to metro jail on Tuesday, Nathan Fields watched from his screen at home.
NewsNation local affiliate WKRG exclusively spoke with Fields, the husband and stepfather to those brutally killed last weekend in Wilmer. Fields says that Oliver visited his family’s home almost every day for the past year and knew them extremely well.

“What he looked like to me today was someone that the devil used up. And he was left just drained and nothing,” said Nathan Fields.
Fields is the husband of 46-year-old Lisa Fields and stepfather to 17-year-old Keziah Luker, who was about 8 months pregnant, and 12-year-old Thomas TJ Cordelle Jr. When Fields exclusively spoke with WKRG last week, he stated that whoever murdered his family knew them personally. “I’ve played every scenario through my head. And now that I know for a fact who it was, I could imagine how it happened,” said Nathan Fields. “I never would have took him as dangerous. I would’ve just took him as the creepy type,” he continued.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A judge has denied bond for the man charged with murdering a Wilmer family.
William Oliver faces eight counts of capital murder in the deaths of Lisa Fields, her 12-year-old son Thomas Cordelle Jr. and her 17-year-old daughter Keziah Luker, who was eight months pregnant at the time of her death.
Prosecutors pointed to Oliver’s criminal history, dating back to the 1990s, and the brutal nature of the case as reasons to keep him behind bars.
Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood said while the case is still under investigation, his office has decided to seek the death penalty.

How did they come to eight counts of capital murder?

He’s being charged with multiple crimes (e.g., murder in the first degree, murder in the second degree, murder during the commission of a felony).

I am an elderly mother, and Life 360 was my compromise offer when my sons wanted me to sign up for Life Alert. (I’m 64, in good health and not a fall risk.)

the only motive so far revealed is robbery. How or why that escalated into execution is unknown. The only witness is 18 months old. Unless the perp confesses (or if he had an accomplice still at large) we may never know why he killed those people
according to the deceased woman’s husband Oliver had visited their house “every day” for a year which is odd in and of itself. But if that’s even generally true, he seems to have discovered something of value inside a shitty trailer in an Alabama trailer park. The list of whatever that could be is pretty short
