Eh, Mobile is kind of a shithole to be fair. 
Live there a few years and don't miss it at all. The eastern shore is nice though. Wouldn't mind living there again.

There are certain parts sure, but Mobile as a whole isn't a dump. Pretty meh but not a garbage place.

Left that shithole of a city with their delusional mayor last year. Crime riddled city...over 180 murders in the last 4 years..SEE YA! And wages stagnant for over 20 years, almost all areas of town gone to looking like trash.
