What happened last night was a joke and in all likelihood, this whole ordeal was based on nothing but a few agitators.
That said, I sincerely home there isn't some crazy person out there that actually does mean to harm the students or outsiders coming in to stir shite up even more. Probably a good thing to have extra security for a while.
