Yea this story hit pretty close to home for us.

"Nobody tells me what to do!" and now he'll spend the rest of his life being told what to do. At 5'6 it probably won't just be the prison guards either.

Should have had the party at their home. That way no one wld have gotten killed.

"Two other guests at the home ran away, perhaps rightly, scared to be shot themselves then claimed they were going upstairs to protect the Harrells' 10-year-old-son, who was asleep."

So because you've never done something this fricking terrible while drunk then there is no way anyone else would? Gotcha. Nice logic there detective.
There had to have been some personal shite between that guy and his wife for him to snap like that. Either way frick that piece of shite.

Of course, but my point is that some people just lose it all when they become drunk. Clearly this guy has some very deep issues that he couldn't control because of alcohol.

Well yeah, not saying I’d do different. I just don’t believe their story of why.

Of course I know others can and do this kind of shite. I've seen it in the past. And yes, frick him.

Oh no doubt, sometimes hiding like a bitch is the best option if you are outgunned and ambushed. “You guys go ahead and go over the top. I’m going to stay back here and bravely guard breakfast.”

Meanwhile, Michael had left the home and returned when deputies responded to the scene. According to officials, he pretended he didn't know what had happened. But a surviving witness at the party identified him to investigators as the shooter, and, after a brief struggle, he was arrested.
The ol' leave a murder scene and come back pretending like you didn't know anything happened defense. Did he think the survivors would forget he just shot 3 people?

i have been in some intense situations over this exact thing. i had a dude that we locked in a bathroom trying to keep him from going crazy on a whisky bender.
Found him later that night when we went to check on him passed out in the hole in the sheet rock wall he made with his head trying to get out.
We got him out and made sure he was alive he then jumped up and grabbed car keys (not his) and another guy ended up tackling him in the parking lot trying to get in his truck with the wrong keys.
had to hog tie him in the living room until he feel asleep..then the little shite wanted to know why he was so sore the next morning.
shitty night man...i don't think that guy touched whisky again to my knowledge.
