I have well-meaning friends that live and run a business in Belzoni. They work so hard to help improve the town, and then stupid stuff like this happens.

the kid that took some pop shots near a Bogalusa High School basketball game a few years ago just got life without parole. Somebody is about to ride the lightning over this one.

People can’t just fight with fists. They have no problem killing out of anger, or because they felt “played or disrespected”. Really sad state of American youth today.

Whatever happened to weekend fights at the Sonic or somewhere? Everybody meets up, two dudes duke it out, everyone walks away, albeit one maybe with a few bumps, a black eye, and little bruised ego.
I miss how it was growing up when basically every truck in the school parking lot had a full gun rack in the back glass yet no one ever had to worry about some punk going off and shooting people.

But they act like it's the greatest place ever. They never take you to the shite side of town. Only downtown and the country club. They really think it's the best place in the south to live.

Who has ever done this in Belzoni? What downtown do you speak of? Country Club? What Country Club were you shown? The one in Silver City that was destroyed by a tornado several years ago?
I don’t think you have ever been to Belzoni, Mississippi. If you have it was while you were on HWY 49. Luckily I haven’t had any issues but I live about 10 miles from Belzoni.
