VERY good call on your part .
Thanks.
This is so disturbing though, and that poor girl. If they know for a fact this guy did it he should already be rotting in a shallow grave somewhere. In fact, he may actually prefer that to going into general population because he's not gonna last long.

An example needs to be made of this guy. A slow agonizing death in a public setting. People need to know what awaits when you do something like this.

I assume she somehow managed to make the phone call to 911?

The Mom called 911. That’s why law enforcement showed up right after while he was driving off.

I can't imagine what it does to a 13 year old mind to sit there and watch some masked man literally blow your mom's head off right beside you. Seems like the mind would just permanently break

the fact that he drove right past the cops as they were headed to the house is such bad luck for the girl. had they been just a tad earlier, then she doesn't get imprisoned for 3 months.

He deserves some Hostel type of death.

Here is the latest story. Excellent opening paragraph (lead).

quote:
BARRON, Wis. — He shaved his head and his face, wiping down his father’s shotgun and six 12-gauge shells to avoid leaving a physical trace. He replaced his car’s license plates with a set he had stolen, removing a glow-in-the-dark cord from the trunk that allowed people to open it from inside.
quote:
And he showed up at a home in rural Wisconsin in a black coat and a balaclava with one purpose: to kidnap a 13-year-old girl whose name he didn’t even know. Prosecutors laid out in detail these steps they say Jake Patterson took as he planned the kidnapping of Jayme Closs last year — an act planned after Patterson saw the girl at a bus stop

Hell ain't hot enough for that POS. They need to skin him alive on the courthouse steps.

this guy was probably licking doorbells not too long ago.

Such evil should be burned at the stake.
And nationally televised.

He should be put down ASAP.
I couldn't even watch the news on this story. It is too upsetting and sad.

You can't tell me this POS parents never had any clue he had these kinds of violent sadistic tendencies. His parents should also be locked up.
His parents weren't around, articles have said the parents moved off but the boys stayed and bounced around some foster homes

Like mentioned before, he didn’t even know her at all. Just saw her at the bus stop one day and decided he was going to take her
That's one of the scarier parts of this story. The girl wasn't even misusing social media or setting herself up to predators. Just going to school like a normal day.
I'm so happy they found her alive, but man, she is going to have a tough life. Hopefully she has a lot of other family to support her, she is going to need it.

There's a good chance her brain has deliberately blacked out parts of that night to protect herself.

Indeed she is Hope she can find some sense of normalcy in her life but she's going to need tons of support and help.
Wonder if any money has been raised for her so far?

It appears there is a Go Fund Me set up, with funds being delivered to Jayme's aunt who she will be staying with.

That young gal needs to get out of town. Hopefully the aunt is in another state so she can restart her life without constant reminders.
