Timing of coming out seems strange & possibly more done since parade hasn't let a "Pride" group participate. Name seems Italian not Irish.

Pride groups seem to want to make it about themselves and their sexuality in parades instead of the main theme and instead of showing they fit in seamlessly like everyone else.
