Miss Saigon @Saenger was great last night, but for a cellphone idiot

Theatre said over and over no damn pictures. So what does moron sitting next to us do? Whip out his iphone and start snapping pictures with a flash several songs into it. Classy. Kept doing it. Got in his face and told him to knock it off. I've had it with these pricks who run such events. Rock concert is one thing but something like Broadway or even a movie, I've said screw it, I get on to them when they do it now.
Miss Saigon was fantastic. Too bad it was only a five night run. I probably would've come back for another performance.

Nah. Just don't get it. You spend $200 or so on tickets and go there just to ruin it for everyone else.
Same thing happened a couple of years ago at Tony Bennett at Saenger. Dude sitting next to use held up his cellphone and was doing the selfie thing through the whole show.

At Tony Bennett they had ushers going up and down the aisles, the phone patrol, and they would get onto people who did it. Unfortunately, the ushers they had last night needed walkers. Seriously.

Didn't say I cussed him out or yelled. There are right ways to do it. Just last month I made a whole theatre of movie goers get up when my reserved seats were taken and it turned out they were in the wrong theatre to begin with.
I mean, don't you people get tired of people ruining events that you pay good money for?
My favorite lately. Go to a decent restaurant and have some clown playing videos with the volume cranked up all the way.

I would doubt you but I go to a lot of live theater and I feel like an alpha badass compared to that crowd.
