My neighbor's brother lives in one of these very neighborhoods outside of Dallas, and it was all fun and games until the first freeze came and totally ruined every f****** thing they had in that big arse garden....and nobody ever went back to it. So they leveled that big garden and put a paved basketball court which gets used all the time now.

Not super interested in living on a golf course, but would definitely hate this. We buy a “share” of a local farm each season and can pick up our stuff at the farmers market each Saturday. And I golf when time permits. That’s close enough for me.

Country clubs seem to be trying to entice younger people to join... I get a slight discount (for a few more years anyway) as a “young professional.”
Living on a golf course is different perhaps. If it’s successful enough, sure younger couples would likely be priced out. That’s always been true of the 20-30 crowd, not just millenials.
