The aversion to fat shaming fatties in this country is the greatest pandemic of them all

Is that really her in that pic?

COVID saved her from a horrible diabetic demise.

Being that fat, yes she should have gotten vaccinated. Risk analysis was obviously not her forte.

The fact that we have seen very little to nothing from state health departments in regards to the importance of a better diet and exercise during the Covid pandemic is very telling.

I always list stage-III-obesity as a diagnosis when a pt has a BMI > 40. I also include it on death certificates.

That’s because the people who make and sell crap, carb loaded, processed foods own all of them.

I was in mixed political company last weekend. I calmly pointed out that a person we knew in their 30’s who died with covid wasn’t exactly a healthy individual.

On cue, there was a loud gasp, an “that is incredibly offensive”, followed by I work in healthcare xyz. To which I responded “you should not be offended by facts. This virus, statistically speaking, kills folks with health issues. How is that offensive?”

Can fat crush a person's lungs if laying down for too long?
