Minimum security federal prison is a joke. He will probably have a tv and sofa in his "cell". I had an Uncle in one for 10 years for running guns with the mob. He still jokes about it.

It's a pain in the arse to do the paperwork even if you're a conscientious small business owner. I can see someone like him just blowing it off.

Seems like the perfect example of a wasted sentence. The guy has changed his entire life, has paid his fines already, yet still has to serve 8 months wasting a spot for a real criminal.

Please don't shatter my fantasy of rape-free prison. When I babysit my nephew he likes to play "Prisoners and Wardens" with his action figures. I don't want to have to introduce simulated rape into it to keep it accurate.
