If I'm in the right lane, I have on cruise control and I'm not switching speeds just cause some dude in the left lane decides to go a similar speed.
Also, if I'm in the left lane I am passing a car - it doesn't mean I have to be passing at 90 mph though. People who get up on my bumper make me nervous and I don't normally go as fast when I have one eye on the rear view watching the guy behind me so it will probably make my time in the left lane increase and my passing a longer process.

I hate a slow left lane driver as much as anyone but this is ridiculous
you don't deserve to be ran off the highway at 55+ mph for going too slow in the left. That's how people die.

We drove about 8 hours on Saturday (all interstate) so I had several instances of people just mindlessly hogging the left lane.
But the moronic rednecks tailgating me while that was occurring were probably worse. It's bad enough to do it to the car causing the hold up, doing it to the other people held up by the left lane dude is bizarre.

What's shitty is when some douche feels entitled to ride your bumper because he wants to go 90. I'm not getting over in the slow arse right lane just to let you by if I'm already going 80 mph. You can find a gap and go around me. I belong in the fast lane at 80 mph.

1) Terrible camera work.
2) Why not speed up get the trucks plate? From the camera, the plate did not look clear.

If some idiot decides to pull on the side of you and go the same speed, all you have to do is 1) tap the brakes to create space, then put cruise control back on, or 2) hit the accelerator to create space for people to pass, then turn cruise control back on.

no he's not
Left lane or not, there is no "right" to travel at your desired speed on the interstate. If the dude passing in the left lane is going well above the speed limit and is clearly passing and getting back over into the right lane, your NASCAR arse can just settle down.

Never fails on my trip south to gulf shores. I deal with this shite all the time on those 2 lane highways. I wanna go faster too man, get off my arse!

It's not the fast lane, it's the passing lane. You find a gap and move your arse over to let the faster car pass. When not passing you belong in the right lane no matter what speed you are going.
