Not really. That's a sketchy AF area of Canal. I have friends that work in that area and they have amazing stories of shite they've seen, in broad daylight on their lunch breaks etc... I'm talking for years now. There have been other shootings in that area in broad daylight.

Not surprising. Had a friend shot at 4pm on a weekday right by that intersection a few years ago.

Is it? it's a block away from Place St. Charles and practically next door to at least one private club. Go down closer to Rampart and it's far sketchier. It's far too close to places like that for stuff like this to go down.
