Michigan Lawmakers Want To Ban Fast Food Chains From Offering 'Gender-Specific' Toys

For instance, a recent promotion asked Happy Meal purchasers to choose between a Transformer (a "boy" toy) and a Hello Kitty item (a "girl" option).

A ban is stupid but I think it’s odd that they have separate boy toys and girl toys.

Just have the kid pick which one it wants. It can be an early indicator to the parent.

Then ban Transformers and Hello Kittie shows & movies. This is retarded. If your little boy wants a "girl" toy then get the freaking Hello Kittie with his Happy Meal. These are just toys based on popular things for kids, in pop culture. Jeez, I played with He-Man, GI Joe and Barbies. Who gives a frick enough to make it a legal matter?
