Miami Police Capt. Javier Ortiz has been suspended after he told commissioners he was black while addressing complaints about alleged discrimination in the police department. Officials with the department confirmed Wednesday that Ortiz had been suspended.

quote:

The comment was made during a meeting last week where members of Miami's largest black police association aired grievances about racial discrimination within the department. Ortiz had been allowed to speak after it was mentioned that he claimed he was black on a promotional exam.

Ortiz said he learned that there are members of his family who are black, and brought up the so-called "One Drop" rule, the belief that anyone of African Descent, no matter how small the ancestry, is considered black.

Exactly.

Instead, he invokes an old-arse racist law as evidence that he is actually black. Which tells me he’s too much of an idiot to be in any command position.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa.

So he can claim every single weird sexual preference and even Asian or Hispanic but because he claimed black, it’s a problem?

So, i believe there is a word for that

So what’s the big deal? Women now men and men now women and some old dude dressed up like a baby and shits his pants and gets commended for being such a role model. Transvestites preying on our kids and getting applauded, screw them. Dude says he is black the some bitch is black. Can’t pick and choose what’s okay and what’s not. Hope he sues the shite out of them and wins 1,000,000,000,000 bucks and shite cans the whole county

He said something that in reality is harmless and was fired for it.

I believe this proves he’s black. If the cops roughed him up on his way out, that would seal it.

As I said, the issue is that he’s an idiot. Read the article.

quote:

When Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon, who is black, permitted Ortiz to speak, the captain began a rant in which he at one point referred to blacks as “negroes” and told Hardemon that he was aware the commissioner was “blacker than me, that’s obvious.”

“I’m a black male. Yes, I am. And I am not Hispanic,” Ortiz told the commission. Then Ortiz went on to explain the “one-drop rule,” an old racist trope that implied anyone with any degree of black ancestry, was black.

While the whole “I get to choose how I identify” stuff is silly, that’s not remotely what’s going on here. This clown doesn’t believe he’s black. He’s a troll.

Let’s see this idiot on foot in NBR using the N word, and explaining the one drop rule,,,,, that will be the determining factor if he’s black
