Me on the jury: "I don't know guys. Those videos may have been fabricated -they can do crazy stuff with GCI these days. I'd hate to put an innocent man in jail."

Fuuuck that noise.

I'd pretend to have some conflict of interest that would have me thrown out of the jury pool.

The towns he hid in love him. He’s built schools, roads, houses, endowments to farmers. He’s a huge hero to thousands of people down there.

No thanks.

“We can send you and your family a LOT of money, or we can send your family to you in a LOT of envelopes. “

Plus if you take the bribe you wind up in prison and your poor arse WILL be convicted.

I don't want my kids murdered, so no. I'll be passing on that one.

Absolutely not. And I would in no way trust the US Government to keep my identity a secret if I were on the jury.

That's what competing cartels have said when they stole his drugs.....and ended up hanging from a bridge.

I don't think he sees Mexico again. The truth is, the US Gov't is the most powerful "cartel" in the history of mankind.

So big in fact that it often gets in it's own way, as we all know.

But if you get under it's skin- which he's managed to do- it can and will probably crush you.

It's okay everybody. I heard a couple days ago he stated that he was not going to kill any of the jurors.

quote:

Notorious drug cartel boss Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán has promised not to have any jurors from his upcoming New York trial murdered, his lawyer has said.

Guzmán made the promise in a motion that was recently filed by his defense attorney, A. Eduardo Balarezo, to counter prosecutor’s demands of keeping the jury at his trial anonymous and under protection, reported The Times of London.

“[It would] create the extremely unfair impression that he is a dangerous person from whom the jury must be protected,” Balarezo wrote.

The fact that he even made this statement is terrifying
